California Seafood & Produce Co. was incorporated in 1992. Our beginning years were focused on export of seafood and matsutake mushrooms to Japan. We then added onions, apples, cherries, and treefruit for export. Our import program was established in 2002.

Our strongest lines are Mexican avocados and limes, Canadian blueberries, and tropical fruits from Hawaii, Florida and Mexico (papaya, rambutan, lychee, and longan). We are one of the largest exporters of wild matsutake mushrooms to Japan.

Mexican avocados are our biggest volume item, we market this delicious fruit from seven of the best packing houses in Michoacan.

We work hard to develop business with the best growers and most discerning customers in the marketplace.To do this, we make careful assessments of the supply and market sides of each commodity, and we set high professional standards as our goal. In addition we offer selected items in our own brands: Avo Rico (avocados), Alana (papaya), La Reyna (limes) and Fraser Valley's Finest (British Columbia blueberries).
